About Recursive Advisors
Recursive Advisors is an employee-owned company founded in 2025 to help organizations design and implement effective sustainability programs. Established by Jamie Gray-Donald, a former academic turned corporate sustainability leader, Recursive builds on his decades of experience driving sustainability innovation across two of Canada’s largest real estate portfolios.
We believe that strategic, scalable sustainability action can unlock both environmental and financial performance. At Recursive, we take the time to understand our clients’ complex problems, distill the core issues and design simple-to-understand solutions that strike the right balance between specificity and broad applicability. We design programs that are easily used by non-sustainability people on a recurring basis which leads to positive impact and positive financial outcomes.
